Summerland Fibers is located in Alamogordo, New Mexico. The fiber animals were raised at Rancho Baltazar in the East Mountains of New Mexico. The Nowell family raised Churro, Ramboillet, Shetland, Tunis/Dorset, and Corriedale sheep along with Angora Goats, and Llamas. All fibers are hand sheered, hand washed, hand carded, handspun, and hand dyed, then transformed into handsewn, knitted, crocheted and felted apparel. Each design is unique and original. No two alike!
